I've grown up and spent my life here in Nebraska. I'm 24 now and have lived in Lincoln for the past 6 years. However, I guess you could call me a small town Nebraska girl. I grew up in Thayer, Nebraska. We moved and I went to school in Utica. Growing up we always had several dogs ranging from little Chihuahuas to large sheep dogs and Huskies. We also had cats around all the time. I currently have one tortoise shell cat. I have had lots of experience with pets and love meeting and caring all kinds of animals.

I am currently a student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. I hope to be graduated in the next year or two with a Bachelors of Art. My family has always moved from place to place, taking our pets with us of course. Eight years ago we finally settled down here in Lincoln. Its been nice to live somewhere for longer than two or three years! Animals have always been a big part of my life and my family's. We enjoy giving each of our pets as many nicknames as we can. I have three spoiled cats: the oldest, Charlotte (Lottie, Muffin), Mary Jane (MJ, Puffer), and Lola (Beaner, Lolita). Lola was just a malnourished kitten living on the street when we crossed paths. We took her in and nurtured her back to being a happy, healthy cat. Since then she and I have been the best of pals! I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know all your special little critters!
